Day 190 (170 days to go)

Hi,                          Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Walked/ran 3.1 miles with my 5 yr. old to get coffee and a muffin and then finished walking 3.3 more miles on the treadmill to total a 10K :)  My shins have been acting up as well as my front right quad so I've been trying different stuff to minimize this. Today I found a great rhythm to reduce this so instead of fast walking at 4.0 for a minute and then running at 6.0 for a minute and back and forth for 1 mile I decided to try walking at 3.5 for 1/2 lap and running at 6.5 and even 7.0 for the other half lap continuing for 1 mile and I could barely feel any strain in the shins :)

Total: 180 Miles!
